Emma turns 4!

Just testing this out and posting some picts from Emma's big day.  We went to Casa Bonita with the Dixon cousins since it was a day off from school and Aunt Liz was visiting.  Got a Cost-co cake to share and Emma picked the caterpillar--who could resist all that frosting?  Emma and James got one of those cartoon drawings of themselves.  The guy was pretty good!  Thanks to a cousin party, Emma had an instant birthday party.  Who can ask for anything more?  Cousins, cake and a party!

Today Van and I hung out.  You know - did dude things.  We had a ton of fun and I thought it would be awesome to post a few of the pictures here.

This was not a staged picture.  Van went to my computer, put on those headphones, and started trying to play Minecraft with Uncle Jeff.

Aunt Kim Really Did Come!!!!

She did.  And it was too fun!  And my kids talked about how they miss her in their prayers tonight and that they hope she is safe!  :)

We did just normal (kinda lame) stuff.  Go to the doctors multiple times for Calvin's ears, go to the store a few times for food and other needs, make meals, pick kids up from school, etc... but we also laughed lots and cried a few times and talked each others heads off and really it was just perfect!  John even made sure when I was at a YW meeting to take Kim to see the ocean over here!  :)

We miss you Kim!  You, any and all of our crazy bunch are welcome at the Haggerty home any time!  Consider this an open invitation everyone!  :)

And I took like zero photos!  So unlike me!  But I've decided that I won't edit photos that go here to hopefully influence me to just post (because it won't take so much time).

So in all our blurry glory... 

I blame John for us looking so bad in this one - photos taken from below are never flattering!  Really, we are striking young looking ladies that are about 50lbs less than this photo makes us out to be (just trying to make myself feel better!  Ha!)!  ;)

It was sooooo fun though and I can't thank all parties enough that helped to make this happen!  I love, love, LOVE my family and I love my Kimmy and I feel very blessed!  

Va Snow Day!!!

These are pictures taken straight out of my camera... usually I work on my photos a little.  But I like these just the way they are!  :)

And by these I mean my littles! 

This was our first and probably only Virginia snow this year.  About three inches I would say.  School has been canceled for the past three days!  Not used to snow around here.  This was also little Clayton first time in the snow.  He loved it, but then quickly did not love it!  :)  My other two spent about three hours in it!  

And we made up a new game, called "Snocker"  Snow + Soccer. 

(She didn't think it was as delicious as it looks... okay just that handful!  The next... amazing!)

So of course brother must try too!  (Does it get any cuter than this?)

I really do love our backyard... especially when these guys are playing in it!  

Happy Birthday to Van!  He is 2 today!  What a cute boy!
